The redaction of documents and CCTV in response to a Subject Access Request (SAR) is often problematic for schools. For the untrained and those reliant on redacting paper documents the process is intrusive and very often potentially compromising for schools. At the very least their occurrence is disruptive for at least one member of your staff.
CCTV redaction brings its own set of problems as the technical skills required to complete this are significant, and in most cases not within the skills set normally available in schools.
